DUBAI: Actress Sofia Boutella and model Shanina Shaik attended this week’s 2025 Fashion Trust US Awards in Los Angeles, which gathered designers, celebrities, and business leaders to honor and promote up-and-coming fashion talent.
Shaik, whose roots are in Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Lithuania, and Australia, showed up wearing a chic white gown designed by Cult Gaia.
The silk dress was form-fitting and floor-length, with a cowl neckline. The shoulders had tulle ties that ran down the front and back and were embellished with appliques that looked like petals. The dress featured an open back, and the flower adornments extended to the hem along sheer strands.

Simple accessories like a slicked-back haircut, neutral platform sandals, and gold hoops completed the ensemble.
Boutella, a French Algerian, on the other hand, wore a beautiful red floor-length gown with soft, gathered pleats down the bodice and a high neckline. The dress had a tight waist that slid into a flared skirt and sleeves that were loose and elbow length. She accessorized the ensemble with a silver metallic purse.
