Put on some loin girds! Officially, The Devil Wears Prada 2 is in production, and Anne Hathaway is acting even when she’s not on camera.
On the set of the sequel, the actor was spotted wearing an ensemble that was distinctly more Anne than Andy. Wearing a light-wash denim maxi skirt with a frayed hem and a white tank top underneath an open black waistcoat, Hathaway was seen on the streets of New York City sporting a summertime ensemble.
Hathaway hinted at the 2025 on Instagram. Andy Sachs wore a pinstripe waistcoat, Jean Paul Gaultier pants, black boots, and an assortment of jewelry to look like a digital media tycoon. Still, Hathaway’s off-duty look had a nod to the 2006 Andy. Andy traded in her loafers for her renowned thigh-high Chanel boots, while Runway staffers in the original movie swiftly replaced their commuting clogs for stilettos. But clomping around in heels is no longer necessary. Hathaway chose to wear a pair of black Chanels with a double Velcro strap today, which are the luxury market’s equivalent of orthopaedic sandals.
We still want to hear Anne Hathaway say the wonderful lines, “Are you wearing theā¦?” even though these might not be a part of her outfit. “The dad sandals with Velcro from Chanel? Yes, I am.
