After BJP MP Nishikant Dubey’s scathing comments on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi sparked protests from opposition members and forced the House to adjourn for the day, the Lok Sabha was rocked by disorder on Thursday. Dubey named Gandhi the “ringleader of the tukde-tukde gang” in a post from his X handle a day later, restating his statements and citing the charges he had made before Parliament.
He claimed on X that he had asked the Speaker of the Lok Sabha for permission to discuss what he alleged were Gandhi’s ties to foreign organizations and asked if the opposition leader was acting against the interests of the country.
I have asked the Speaker of the Lok Sabha for permission to debate my charges against Soros, the Ford Foundation, and Rahul Gandhi Ji, the head of the “tukde-tukde gang.” “Is the Lok Sabha’s Leader of the Opposition plotting India’s division to seize power?” Dubey wrote on X.

Dubey included a multi-page letter to the Speaker with the post. In the document, he asked for action regarding Rahul Gandhi’s position as a Member of Parliament and asked for the establishment of a parliamentary inquiry committee to look into what he described as “unethical conduct” on the part of the politician.
Gandhi was charged in the letter of making baseless accusations against government agencies, such as the Supreme Court and the Election Commission, and of trying to sow disbelief in constitutional institutions. Additionally, it asserted that his remarks in Parliament diminished the respect for government agencies and the military.
Dubey further claimed that Gandhi had ties to foreign organizations and people, and he implied that these ties were intended to cause instability in the nation. Gandhi’s talks and overseas trips were also mentioned in the letter, which raised concerns about their financing and purpose.
Dubey has filed a “substantive motion” against Gandhi, citing his reference to Gen. Naravane’s unpublished memoir and linking his frequent international travel to what he claimed were his ties to “foreign forces working against India.”
