There was no better way for Sanya Malhotra’s 2025 to conclude. At the most recent award ceremony, the actor took up the Filmfare prize for Best Actor in a Web Original Film in a Female Role. The following day, she flaunted her black lady on Instagram, but others were “ooh-ing” and “ahh-ing” her gorgeous, sparkling black gown.
On her special day, the actor donned an Aisha Rao gown. Sanya donned the Sunflair gown, which costs Rs 117,900 and is part of the designer’s Wild At Heart 2.0 collection. The drop-waist bodice of the black taffeta satin dress features sun rays and flower designs on both the front and back.
Sanya Malhotra’s hair was styled by stylist Manisha Melwani, who also created a personalized, adorned sheer short veil. The black veil, tied in a ponytail, mirrored the flowers on the gown with identical floral appliqué work down the edge.
To enhance the glam factor, the 33-year-old actor added a couple rings and a delicate diamond necklace set with black stones.
Natasha Mathias applied cosmetics for Sanya, covering her eyelids with a shimmering pink and rimming her eyes with a black kohl. She had a rosy blush on her cheeks and a nude lip.

In an interview with Zoom, she said, “It feels amazing to earn an award for Mrs. I dedicate this to Richa. This is dedicated to all the amazing men and women who watched and valued Mrs. I sincerely appreciate it. This is for every one of them. I appreciate your love and Filmfare’s acknowledgement.
The actor posted, “Sadiyon Se Tere Andar, Ek Aag Guzarti Aayi, Noor Ban Ke Roshan Kare, Teri Apni Parchhayi,” on Instagram to express her happiness at receiving the prize.
Sanya continued by talking about her character and the crew that assisted her in making the movie. “Richuu, you won @filmfare Best Actor for Mrs.,” she wrote. Thank you for entering my life and teaching me so much, Richu. Aur kya kaamaaal ladki hai. This one is for my team and my incredible cast and crew for helping me bring Richa to life, and Mrs. is very dear to me.”

Regarding her career, Sanya most recently starred with actors Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, and Rohit Saraf in the romantic comedy Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari.
