A British national who had traveled from Bangkok to New Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport escaped the immigration section and entered the city in a significant security breach. According to News18, the Central Industrial Security Force, Delhi Police, Bureau of Immigration, and other relevant agencies are searching for the individual who has not yet been located.

Fitz Patrick, a British national with passport number 55819****, was the passenger on Air India flight AI 333 when the event occurred on October 28.

According to officials with knowledge of the situation, the aircraft touched down at IGI airport on October 28 at around midday, News18 said. “Air India flight AI 117, the passenger’s connecting trip to London, was due to depart at 2:10 pm that day. The officer stated, “As far as we know, the passenger missed his flight because he reported late and stayed in the international to international passenger transfer area.”

Authorities at Delhi airport were notified till the next day, October 29, when airline employees reported a missing passenger. Around 7.30 am, the traveler mounted the arrival immigration e-visa counter and left the airport through arrival gate number four, according to tracking efforts.

He was also observed traveling in the direction of the city during additional inquiry. According to the officials, he was seen getting on an Air India SATS staff ferry bus.

At least two separate authorities have confirmed the passenger’s arrival and escape, according to News18. Additionally, they verified that after more than a week, the passenger had still not been located.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police at Delhi Airport did not return calls or texts.

Airport security agency CISF was also contacted, but they did not respond.

Additionally, the officers who were contacted were unable to verify whether the man’s suitcase had been located and whether anything odd had been discovered within. When asked if the man had a valid Indian visa to leave the transit area and enter New Delhi, they likewise opted to say nothing.
