Telangana will gladly host the international pageant in 2025 when Miss World makes a comeback to India for its 72nd edition. The festival will take place in a number of locations throughout Telangana, a state with a rich history and a contemporary feel, from May 7 to May 31. Hyderabad is set to host the grand finale as well as the opening and closing ceremonies.

Miss World relocates to Telangana, a state where tradition and innovation coexist and beauty is embraced in all its manifestations, after the 71st Miss World pageant, which was hosted in New Delhi and Mumbai, was a huge success. As the most well-known and longest-running beauty pageant in the world today, Miss World promotes humanitarian causes across the globe and supports a variety of expressions of beauty with a purpose.

Telangana, the youngest state in India, has advanced significantly in just ten years. India’s representative at the competition will be Nandini Gupta, the 2023 Female Miss India World. Since she was ten years old, Gupta had aspirations of becoming Miss India. On April 15, 2023, in Imphal, Manipur, she won the Femina Miss India 2023 title while representing Rajasthan at the age of 19.

It is a popular travel destination for people from India and other countries due to its reputation for safety, friendliness to tourists, and a flourishing international ecology.

Julia Morley CBE and Ms. Smita Sabharwal, Secretary to the Government of Telangana, Tourism, Culture, Heritage, and Youth Affairs Department, made the formal announcement.

“We are thrilled to bring the 72nd Miss World Festival to Telangana, a state that beautifully represents its rich culture, innovation, and hospitality,” Julia said with excitement. By collaborating with the Telangana government, we can present its remarkable history and rapid development to a worldwide audience.
“Telangana is proud to announce that it will be hosting the 72nd Miss World, welcoming the world to witness a land where beauty is not just what meets the eye; it is what resonates with its land, people, culture, and traditions,” said Ms. Smita Sabharwal, Secretary to the Government of Telangana, Tourism, Culture, Heritage, and Youth Affairs Department.
