Thalapathy 69: Vijay wields a whip in his second glimpse at Jana Nayagan

On Republic Day, the creators of Vijay’s final film as an actor presented two looks from Jana Nayagan.

Fans of Thalapathy Vijay were treated to a double surprise on Republic Day this year. The creators of Vijay’s highly anticipated film, Jana Nayagan, have launched two posters featuring the actor. The film is an upcoming Tamil-language political action thriller. The film also stars Pooja Hegde, Bobby Deol, and Gautham Vasudev Menon, among others.

Vijay’s first look

Vijay took to his X account to release the film’s second look poster. The poster depicted him brandishing a whip while smiling. The first poster depicted him snapping a photo with hundreds of people on top of a car.

KVN Productions has released more information about the film’s cast and crew, revealing that he will portray the ‘torchbearer of democracy’ in it. H Vinoth will direct the film, with Anirudh composing the music.

Vijay most recently appeared in Venkat Prabhu’s The Greatest of All Time, which opened in theaters on September 5. Vijay plays both father and son in the film. Apart from Vijay, the cast features Prashanth, Sneha, Prabhudheva, Vaibhav, Ajmal Ameer, Mohan, Ajay Raj, Aravind Akash, Laila, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Yogi Babu, Sneha, Yugendran, Premgi Amaren, and VTV Ganesh, among others.

In February of this year, Vijay announced the formation of his political party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam. The Election Commission formally registered it as a party in September of this year. “You’re all aware of the current political situation. Administrative malpractices and corrupt political culture on the one hand, and a divisive political culture that seeks to separate our people based on caste and religion on the other. Everyone, especially in Tamil Nadu, wants substantial political change that will result in a selfless, transparent, caste-free, visionary, corruption-free, and efficient administration.”
